stablishment of Biochem Pharmaceutical Industries, marking our entry into the pharmaceutical sector. Biochem quickly became a trailblazer in medical advancements, expanding its presence across eight countries, including Thailand, Malaysia, Kenya, and Sri Lanka. The company made significant contributions to healthcare, starting with the introduction of Ampicillin, the first antibiotic of its kind in India, which played a crucial role during the 1965 conflict. Biochem further revolutionized cancer treatment by securing an exclusive license from Japan to bring Mitomycin-C injections to India, marking a new era in oncology. Their commitment to innovation persisted with the 1985 launch of Amikacin Sulphate injections, a breakthrough in fighting severe bacterial infections.
