Bollywood's most talked about couple, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, have quietly built one of the most impressive real estate portfolios in the industry over the past several years. Their careers have both been on a high, but lately it is their property choices making just as much noise. The biggest talking point right now is a massive sea facing home in Bandra, one the couple bought a few years back and is finally getting ready to move into.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh New Mumbai Home

The story goes back to 2022, when the couple bought up a sea-facing quadruplex in Bandra Bandstand for a reported ₹119 crore mansion. It is one of the bigger residential purchases Mumbai has seen in recent years. The deal was made through Singh's firm, Oh Five Oh Media Works LLP, which he runs together with his father, Jugjeet Sundersingh Bhavnani.

What makes Ranveer Singh Bandra property stand out is the sheer scale of it. It is not one apartment but four entire floors, from the 16th all the way up to the 19th, totalling 11,266 square feet of carpet area. On top of that, there is a private terrace stretching across 1,300 square feet. The building itself, called Sagar Resham, was developed by Nagpal Developers, and from those upper floors, the view is basically uninterrupted Arabian Sea, which even in a coastal city like Mumbai is not something every home can offer.

Two years after that first purchase, in 2024, Padukone added to the family's presence in the same building. She bought another apartment, this time on the 15th floor, for close to ₹17.8 crore, according to a report by the Hindustan Times. Construction on the building has since been completed, and families have already started moving in. Word is that Singh and Padukone will be joining them soon.

About the neighbourhood

Anyone familiar with Mumbai's property market knows why Bandra holds the reputation it does. It has this mix that is hard to find elsewhere in the city old buildings with character standing right next to newer, sleeker towers, sea-facing homes, cafes that stay busy through the day, and a general buzz that does not really die down. It also helps that Bandra is close to South Mumbai, the western suburbs, the Bandra Kurla Complex, and the airport, which makes it a practical choice and not just a fashionable one.

For someone in the film industry, there is an added layer of convenience too. This particular home sits just a street away from Shah Rukh Khan's Mannat and Salman Khan's Galaxy Apartments, so the couple is now part of what is arguably the most recognisable celebrity stretch in the country. Beyond the star neighbours, the location also works well because several production houses and dubbing studios are within easy reach, which matters more than people might think for those constantly juggling shoot schedules.

A growing property portfolio

This Ranveer Singh Deepika Padukone Mumbai property home is really just the latest piece of a much bigger picture. Singh and Padukone have been steadily adding to their property list for years now, with holdings spread across Mumbai and Alibag. At present, the two live in a four-bedroom apartment in Prabhadevi, a home Padukone had bought back in 2010, long before she and Singh got married. That is where they settled after their wedding, and the couple has remained fairly active in that neighbourhood since, with some reports pointing to additional space taken on lease as their requirements grew over time.

Outside the city, there is also a property in Alibag. It is believed to be part of the L'Hermitage villa project, a collaboration between Aditya Kilachand, designer Sussanne Khan, and architect Cherag Bardolivala. Alibag has slowly turned into the go-to weekend escape for a lot of Mumbai's celebrities and business families, and that shift is part of why people have started calling it the Hamptons of India.

Looking at all of this together, there is a pattern that shows up again and again with Bollywood's top names, where success on screen tends to translate into serious real estate decisions. For Singh and Padukone, this Bandra mansion feels like the natural next step rather than an impulsive buy, a permanent base in one of Mumbai's most sought-after pockets, right in the middle of the city's biggest stars.
