Once again, Hrithik Roshan is making headlines, but this time it is not about any films. Instead, it is about a real estate transaction. The celebrity is making a good amount of money by renting out an office space in Mumbai.
According to sources, Hrithik will receive about Rs 17 lakh in rent each month as a result of this contract. This is not a short-term benefit at all because it is a term of a five-year deal. The office is situated on New Link Road in Andheri West in Lotus Nilkamal Business Park, an area with numerous offices and commercial spaces. The seven office spaces on the site are located on one of the building's higher floors.
Hrithik Roshan Office Lease details
The Mumbai office space lease rent starts at Rs 17 lakh a month. But this amount is not going to stay the same for the whole five years, it will increase at different points as the agreement moves forward. The seven units together add up to almost 6000 square feet, which is a decent size when it comes to commercial properties in Mumbai. Along with this, the deal also comes with seven parking spaces, which is quite useful in a busy locality like Andheri.
The tenant has already paid a security deposit of Rs 68 lakh, which shows how serious and long-term this arrangement is. The agreement was registered on June 29, but it had actually already started from April 1. It will remain valid all the way till March 31, 2031, so this is a pretty long lease when you look at Mumbai office space lease trends in general.
The space is being rented by Clearsynth Labs Limited. According to the rules, from April 2026 to March 2029, they will pay Rs 17 lakh each month. The rent will increase to Rs 19.55 lakh for the final two years of the contract once this time ends, extending it until 2031. In other words, rather than being fixed, the rent keeps going up in phases.
Other Real Estate Transactions Made by Hrithik Roshan
Hrithik has previously made headlines for a property-related topic. He rented out his opulent Juhu house to his girlfriend Saba Azad last year for Rs 75,000 a month for a period of one year. That news too had caught a lot of attention back then.
Apart from this, Hrithik has also been investing in real estate along with his family. He, together with his father Rakesh Roshan's company HRX Digitech LLP and his mother Pramila Roshan's company Filmkunj Bombay Pvt. Ltd, had bought 10 office units in Andheri West, in a deal worth Rs 28 crore.
So what does Hrithik Roshan's Andheri office deal mean for Mumbai commercial real estate? It shows that even celebrities are now looking at Andheri commercial real estate as a solid long-term investment option, and going by this latest lease, Hrithik seems to be doing quite well on that front, earning steady rental income while growing his property holdings across the city.
