Shah Rukh Khan’s first Mumbai home, located in Shree Amrit Society on Carter Road, Bandra, is set for a massive redevelopment. The project, led by Sri Lotus Developers, will be worth nearly ₹2,000 crore and is expected to be completed by FY27.

Key Highlights

  • The society sits on a prime one-acre sea-facing plot in Bandra.

  • Redevelopment will create around 6 lakh sq. ft. of built-up space.

  • Society members, including SRK, will get 155% bigger apartments once the project is complete.

  • About 45% of the space will go to existing residents for rehabilitation, while 55% will be sold in the market.

  • Flats are likely to be 4 BHK and 5 BHK luxury homes, priced at nearly ₹1.5 lakh per sq. ft.

  • Construction is expected to start after residents vacate in the next 6–8 months, with a timeline of 3–4 years.

Why This Matters

This project is special because it redevelops SRK’s first sea-facing flat in Mumbai. It also reflects Mumbai’s trend of turning old housing societies into modern high-rise luxury towers. For Bandra, already one of the city’s most expensive locations, this will further boost its status as a hub for premium real estate.
